Mystic Knotwork is the oldest and possibly still only knot shop open to the public

My grandfather started this handmade business in 1957, and it's been a mainstay of Mystic, CT all the way through. The business grew out of my grandfather's passion for 'fancy knots' and continued as 'Beaudoin's Rope Locker' until 2008 when I changed the name to bring it online.

Mystic Knotwork is the oldest and possibly still only knot shop open to the public. We get hundreds of visitors per week in to see how we do what we do. All our knots are made with American cotton. There are no machines that help us make our work, it's all hands and sheers and rigging knives.

I've attached an article from my grandfather along with a picture inside our shop to give you a sense.

I'd love the chance to introduce ourselves to your audience.
